VIAC 2024 Scholarship Winner

My name is Anabel Gibson and I am honoured to have received the Victoria Italian Assistance Centre Scholarship.

For post-secondary, I will be attending the University of Toronto with a plan to major in anthropology and criminology. In my free time, I am a coxswain on a rowing team and have competed at several international regattas. I love to listen to music and play music as well (mainly the clarinet, tenor saxophone, and voice)!

When I have enough money, I want to visit where my Nonno was born in the village of Castel di Sangro, Italy.

Hall Rentals

We host wedding receptions, seasonal parties, and specialty events utilising a commercial kitchen, raised stage, cushioned chairs, long and round tables, and Victoria’s smoothest dance floor.
Bring your family and friends to a beautiful, spacious hall and dance to the late hours of the night. There’s a stage for a band and speeches, and a commercial kitchen and bar for keeping guests going.
As of October 2024, we have parking available on a monthly basis.

Planning to travel? The best way to learn Italian is to immerse yourself in the culture and language. Learn Italian from one of our tutors so you can take the Italy trip you dreamt of. It’s for beginners to intermediate, and even children.
